- Someone mentioned "asking for the moon" a while back. These questions
- probably fit into that category....
-
- 1) I have long wanted to be able to have NB *automatically* store all
- the *.BAK files in their own directory. I find having them in my ordinary
- "working" directories a distracting clutter. At the same time, I don't
- simply want to do away with them entirely! Any suggestions? I can't
- find a "Set" menu in 4.0 that will take care of this.
-
- 2) This is even sillier, I fear. I would *very* much like to have
- labels, as in <<LBtext...>>, display in a unique way. As it stands,
- they display in the same mode as italics. I habitually use labels as
- notes to myself, while italics are simply part of the text. The
- difference, then, is that labels should stand out, while italics
- should blend in. Again the plea goes out: any suggestions?
-
- This is also an opportune moment to wish all my NOTABENE list-mates a
- *peaceful* 1993.

- David.
