  22. He was in charge of reorganizing and integrating all of the archives of the
  23. former GDR. He (or someone in his office) was most helpful in giving addresses
  24. and information about holdings for all the Landarchive in the East, as well as
  25. Merseburg and Berlin-Dahlem (Geheimes Staatsarchiv). There is a connection
  26. between the latter two and some of the holdings from Merseburg are being
  27. treansferred to Berlin-Dahlem, but I do not know what or how much.
