  15. We don't have any policies in place to control the impact of non-affiliates
  16. on reference service in our library.  Anyone is welcome to use the Library
  17. and its services.  Sometimes it causes some minor problems, but generally
  18. it doesn't.  Any resident of the Halifax-Dartmouth area who is over 18
  19. is entitled to a Novanet (the library consortium of which we are a member)
  20. off-campus borrower's card for $5.00.  This gives them the right to borrow
  21. regular circulating material from the Library and to use other library
  22. services such as reference, CD-ROMs etc.

  34. P.S.  The services that the "public" are not entitled to include interlibrary
  35. loans, borrowing of reserve materials, and mediated literature searches.  We
  36. do however provide mediated searches for any registered health professional
  37. in the Maritime provinces.
