  20. "Results of any database search are subject to the limitations of the
  21. database searched.  Consequently, some citations which are retrieved may
  22. not be directly relevant to the desired topic.  Inaccuracies from time to
  23. time may exist with a citation and are beyond our control.  While data-
  24. base searching does offer speed, online searches are not meant to repre-
  25. sent a comprehensive treatment of a topic.  The Health Sciences Library
  26. is not responsible for consequential or incidental damages arising out of
  27. reliance on the information it gathers, and its liability is limited to the
  28. cost of services provided."

  30. We attach this to the results of all searches, on a form that also has space
  31. for the librarian to sign his/her name, write notes to the patron about
  32. the search if needed, interprets the elements of NLM citations, and gives
  33. a step-by-step guide to finding the journal articles on our shelves.
