- I agree 100% with Dave Roberts that "the writing project work is the most
- important thing I've done and the most effective teaching I've ever been
- involved in." I watched the writing project (and its the dynamic of the thing,
- not the director) transform careers, turn weary teachers into self-confident
- professionals, transform curriculum in individual schools and districts, and
- turn project directors into very humble servants. Being a project director
- does require a VERY understanding spouse. (Thanks, Dear.)
