  18. usage, spelling, mechanics, apostrophes:  drill?  no.  show the kids how
  19. to look the problems up!  The Style handbook in Webster's 9th is easy to
  20. use; spelling is easy to solve by a combination of absolute rigidity and
  21. flexibility; usage dictionaries are lovely excuses to teach the problems
  22. of language conventions.  teach themhow to fish, collaboratively.
