  12. It's not institutionally unworkable.  We hold half-hour conferences
  13. with each student in our Writing Practicums each week.  An
  14. institution has to be willing to support that level of instruction,
  15. but once that support is there, believe me, it's not only workable--
  16. it works like a charm!
