  23. First, I'm not sure how much help you'll get on such a topic by posting
  24. it to HELP-NET/Info-Nets.  I would suggest, though, sending the following
  25. batch file to a listserv, such as LISTSERV@VM1.NODAK.EDU, to find mailing
  26. lists that you may be able to talk about your problem with:

  38. But as far as what help I can give you, I don't think I can give much.
  39. You're really in a situation where you can't do much, and I see that you
  40. realize that you're powerless, in you're posting your problem to this
  41. mailing list.  You could be extra nice to her, in your attempt to show
  42. there's a better alternative, but probably she'll see right through what
  43. you're doing.  Showing too much (if any) affection could backfire.  As hard
  44. as it may be to accept, you may have to go on with your life, and look
  45. for someone else.  You'll have to let her make her own mistake. It's either
  46. that, or pray for the best, and hope her fiance gets some terminal illness,
  47. and succumbs to it, where you can jump in and promise you won't do the
  48. same thing to her.
  49. But in all seriousness, I hope we all will be able to find our own Lisa...
