  14.    I posted the following on the vmgopher list recently.  We haven't
  15. installed the PTF yet but I did zap the dmspipe module which prevented
  16. the errors (this was on tn3270 connections) but also seemed to suppress the
  17. messages too...  However, the test program with the apar worked ok with the
  18. zap on.  I'm not enough of a "plumber" or "tuber" to know what all that means.

  29.    Eeek.  I should have checked IBMLink.  The APAR below appears to correct
  30. the problem with the "ugly" error messages to certain terminals when in ESA
  31. (or XA apparently) mode.  Can anyone verify this?  We are real new to VM/ESA
  32. so while I've ordered the APAR it may take us a few days to get it installed.
  33. (While the problem mentions 7171 terminals we've seen this - or a similar
  34. problem - on tn3270 sessions).
