- Hmm... Maybe the best "punishment" for pirates would be for the software
- companies to drop their prices so low that there wouldn't be any incentive
- to make an illegal copy. I know it's not economically feasible, but it's
- still a nice thought- How many times have you paid $50+ for a "hot" new
- title only to discover more thought & creativity went into the grapic
- design of the BOX than into the program iteslf?

- On the other hand, what about people who only have a copy of a program
- because they got it for "free" (i.e., piracy) and would never have
- purchased it anyway? Sort of blows the ol' "taking food from the
- programmer's mouth" bit of anti-piracy rhetoric, eh? I'm neither
- condemning nor advocating piracy (it IS illegal), but just trying to look
- at it from a different perspective... But then, I'm only 12- so what do I
- know? :)
