  17. I simply went to my Amiga dealer and asked for a multi-sync monitor
  18. adapter for my A500.  I am able to use the 1381A without a flicker fixer
  19. by connecting the MS cable included with the 1381 to the adapter and
  20. plugging the adapter into the RGB port.  Cost $30.

  27. A friend and I bought a couple of their 1381A's and found that the
  28. composite video was not set up properly.  Further, the monitors looked
  29. like they may have been demos or returned to the store as defective.
  30. The cases and screens are without blemishes, but the boxes appear to
  31. have been opened.

  33. Fortunately I'm a fairly good DIY'er and was able to center and square
  34. the picture using a laserdisk and video camera as sources.  It took
  35. about 3 hours for me to find the POT that adjusts horizontal centering
  36. on my friend's 1381.

  38. Now both of our 1381's look real good in composite and RGB modes.

  40. I'd sure like to know what the deal is with Source.  My receipt says
  41. "all items are sold on 'as is' basis unless otherwise stated on
  42. invoice".  They sound slightly shady.  I don't even have a warranty
  43. card to send in to Mitsubishi.
