- Thanks to everyone who responded with help on my
- A3000 memory problem. The final problem was in
- fact a mix of page mode and static column chips,
- The vendor has apologized profusely (spelling)
- and claimed that he received a whole batch of
- "static columns" that turned out to be page modes...
-
- At any rate thanks for every little bit of help
- and for the pointer to Intro to A3000 manual...
- I never would have thought to look in an "Intro"
- book for something like part numbers on memory
- chips... Now I know.
-
- I have 8 MB ! **Now** I can run Unix :)
