  20.     Bernan recently introduced BERNAN DECK Services Shelf List.
  21. These diskettes contain information fromdepository shipping
  22. lists in DBASE format.  The Shelf List data is updated and
  23. distributed to libraries as frequently as two times per week,
  24. and can be used for document check-in, creation of cards, labels
  25. and special reports.  And a depository library may select items
  26. so that their disks reflect what they receive.
  27.     We welcome any commments or suggestions from government
  28. document librarians and professionals.  What should such a service
  29. provide?  How would it be most useful to you?  Anyone wishing to
  30. review Shelf List for GOVDOC-L or for their own personal use
  31. may request a free sample disk from Bernan.
