  12. Here's a review of MicroProse's HYPERSPEED.

  14. This review might be somewhat premature, but as I'm eager to hear
  15. more reviews as soon as people can muster them, I'll practice
  16. what I preach and bang this one right out after about 4 hours of
  17. play time.

  19. The graphics are okay, but certainly not astounding.  The sound is
  20. a little repititve by the standard of most games these days, but
  21. it still enhances the game.  The game is a pretty good mix of
  22. strategy and action as you have to fight fast-paced battles that
  23. are pretty challenging (when you blow up a bad guy in one of your
  24. speedy sub-fighters you really feel like you accomplished something!)
  25. and run very smoothly in vector graphic 3-D in between trade deals
  26. and getting other races to like you and sign peace treaties.  The
  27. game takes a while to learn but is pretty enjoyable if you get the
  28. hang of only the basics.  On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 7.

  30. Oh, if you didn't know this is an expansion on the game LIGHTSPEED.
