- Concerning Adi Dax's Quest II:

- >Sorry to ruin your day, but there are no comments about your game here.

- >I KNOW that this is not the first negative response you have gotten!
- >YOU ARE ANNOYING PEOPLE BY REPOSTING YOUR MESSAGE!

- In response to both postings:
- Aren't the holidays supposed to be a time of peace and goodwill? You'd
- never know it reading this list. I agree that six times is a bit excessive
- for posting a message, but Adi has apologized profusely, and I think everyone
- is entitled to an honest mistake, so will you guys lighten up???? If it
- bothers you that much, then exorcise your right to delete the offending
- message and shut up! I feel that about half of the messages on this
- list are either redundant or they just don't pertain to me, but do you see
- me flaming someone for those messages? Nope. Let's be a little more
- forgiving, huh? I will agree that I have screwed up in the past, like when
- I first came on this list a few years ago and flamed someone for asking an
- assembler-related question, but that was then, this is now. Enough,
- already!
-
- Okay, now for my own responses to Adi's request (NOT DEMAND!) for a critique:
-
- I played the game yesterday, after finally getting on to WUARCHIVE (it would
- seem that wuarchive has been clamping down on use of resources; they're only
- allowing 175 anonymous sessions, and last week it was only 100, instead of
- the usual 200). I played it and managed to get past the first level, but
- the second level has me a bit stumped, esp. with the room with about
- ten million monsters and four rooms with gold. I can barely get to any of
- the rooms without getting slammed. At any rate, I like the game, especially
- considering it's a first attempt at shareware. I'll play it a bit longer
- before deciding if I want to register, but I would like to call your
- attention to the following bug: When I die in level 2, I get sent back to
- the beginning of level 2. Well and good, but I keep dying as soon as I start
- level 2 again, and have to press a bunch of keys at once to be able to load
- my saved game up again. Rather frustrating. Other than that, the game is
- pretty good. My compliments. One question tho: What happened to Quest I?
