  12. Hey all,

  14. Someone posted to the list requesting help on level 26 of The Incredible
  15. Machine, level 26.  I didn't reply right away, because: 1) I wasn't sure
  16. which level it was, and 2) I couldn't remember how I solved it.  So, I
  17. went back and played it again, and now I remember.  Here it is

  36. Ahh, here we are.  Here's what you do:
  37.  
  38. 1) Attach a string to the lower part of the teeter totter below the
  39. bowling ball.  Thread it through a pulley placed on the bottom center of the
  40. screen to a light bulb, which will be placed with a magnifying glass to the
  41. right of the cannon.
  42.  
  43. 2) Place an incline, with the lower end facing left, in between and slightly
  44. above the two buckets.
  45.  
  46. 3) Place a pistol facing right under the teeter totter at left, lined
  47. up with the bowling ball you wish to knock into the hole.  It should
  48. be just above the platforms along the left.
  49.  
  50. 4) Place a teeter totter underneath the left bucket, with the up side to
  51. the right and directly under the bucket.  Attach a string to the up side
  52. of the teeter totter and thread it through a pulley on the left edge of the
  53. screen and slightly below the platforms.  Finally, attach the end of the string
  54. to the gun.

  56. Run the machine.  This is what will happen:
  57.  
  58. The bowling ball will roll down and hit the teeter totter, which will pull
  59. the light switch via the pulley.  The light through the magnifying glass
  60. will ignite the cannon, sending a cannon ball towards the left.  The ball will
  61. hit the wall, bounce off of the incline and roll into the left bucket (you
  62. may have to experiment to get this right).  The left bucket will come down
  63. on the teeter totter, which will pull the string and fire the pistol.  The
  64. bullet from the gun will fire across the center (now that the buckets are
  65. out of the way) and strike the bowling ball, causing it to drop into the
  66. hole.  Voila!

  68. If you need any more help, let me know.  Personally, *I* could use some
  69. help on level 48, the one where you have to use the trampolines and
  70. other things to get the cannon balls to set off a rocket, which will
  71. cause the monkey to start riding, or something.  Suffice it to say that the
  72. level is pretty tough.
