- I'm not sure that IQ is important or meaningful at all except that it refers to
- other issues and concerns. Maybe we should shift this discussion from IQ
- as a form to questions of control?

- When ever I read/hear/etc anyhting on what our "kids" should be learning
- in school a red flag pops up (a nice hypercard trick) .... who determines
- what should be learned and why.... the history of education is a series
- of conflicts over the control of the curriculum..... this is nicely
- demonstrated by current interest groups outside education-- putting the
- screws to education--

- so.. maybe your right.. IQ is not important.... the bigger issues may be, IQ is
- only "a" form they take.
