  13. I'm not sure that IQ is important or meaningful at all except that it refers to
  14. other issues and concerns.  Maybe we should shift this discussion from IQ
  15. as a form to questions of control?

  17. When ever I read/hear/etc anyhting on what our "kids" should be learning
  18. in school a red flag pops up (a nice hypercard trick) .... who determines
  19. what should be learned and why.... the history of education is a series
  20. of conflicts over the control of the curriculum..... this is nicely
  21. demonstrated by current interest groups outside education-- putting the
  22. screws to education--

  24. so.. maybe your right.. IQ is not important.... the bigger issues may be, IQ is
  25. only "a" form they take.
