- To those of you on NOTIS-L, my apologies for the (sort of) cross-
- posting. But hey, why not.
-
- Just looked at the calendar and realized that it is getting
- to be about that time. This year's holiday message comes to
- you from SAIL magazine.
-
- There was a young lady who was perplexed. She had been married
- to her husband only a few short months, and the Christmas season
- was upon them. She was not quite sure what to get him for
- Christmas. He had just about everything. He had a fine yacht
- and all the other amenities that accompany such affluence. She
- finally just broke down and asked him what he wanted for Christmas.
- He just winked his eye at her and said "Dear...you know that I am
- a diehard sailor, and you know the stories about sailors. There
- is only one thing that a sailor can never get enough of...."
-
- On Christmas morning, he awoke and found his bed empty. Remembering
- his remark, he quickly showered, doused himself in Old Spice (what
- else?), threw on just a robe, and hurried downstairs in gleeful anticipation
- of his Christmas gift. He heard some rustling coming from the living
- room, peeked around the corner and there, laying under the Christmas
- tree was.....300 ft. of anchor chain.
-
- To All in CIRCPLUS-Land....the happiest of Holidays. May your winds
- be fair and your seas calm.
