  19. Keep in mind that the reporters don't represent the interests of the
  20. citizens either.  They have to write stories that sell magazines
  21. without offending advertizers.  Their incentives tell them to say
  22. something interesting whether or not it is accurate.

  28. Non-sequitur.  From the new Swedish standards we know that the people
  29. who influence Swedish politicians believe the fields are harmful.  We
  30. don't know who those people are, or that they have rational grounds
  31. for their beliefs.  For instance, they may have read Currents of Death
  32. without reading any of the studies that CofD cites.

  34. Has anyone read any primary literature that gives reason to believe
  35. that ELF's are harmful to humans at a dose somewhere near what is
  36. encountered in real life?  If so, I would really appreciate it if you
  37. post:

  39.    The citation for the study.
  40.    The words "I read the study", or something synonymous.
  41.    A brief summary of the results.  (Two lines would be sufficient.)

  43. In particular, don't post citations for studies that you haven't read;
  44. I already have a large collection of those.
