- Actually, Dan, I wasn't advocating networking it anyway. They can restrict our
- networking rights, and we have to put up with it. But it is NOT right or
- "fair". What I was saying was that they shouldn't. Sorry if I was unclear.
- Also, when you call the cost of "disconnecting" a station trivial, I think you
- are neglecting the "opportunity" cost of doing so. A standalone workstation
- can only access the OED, limiting the access to networkable products. Not
- good. Fortunately, use of humanities dbs here is low enough that we can load
- the OED on a stanlone with six disk changer and not worry about patron
- conflicts.
