  12.     Two new files are now available from LISTSERV@BITNIC for those seeking
  13. information about BITNET nodes, the countries in which they are located,
  14. and the BITNET Cooperating Networks which serve them:
  15.  
  16.     NODES INFO3 lists all NJE nodes worldwide, sorted by country,
  17. state/province code if present, and node name.  It includes:
  18. *  the name of the node
  19. *  the first 20 characters of the node's :ref tag as a pointer for those
  20.     seeking information about the organization to which the node belongs
  21. *  the first 94 characters of the node description (where present)
  22. Note that this is a large file, containing about 560,000 Bytes, with
  23. almost 3,500 records of 130 bytes each.

  25.     COOP_NET COUNTRY lists the names of the countries with BITNET nodes,
  26. sorted by the name of the BITNET Cooperating Network which serves the
  27. country.
