  16. My son's friend has a small wind-powered generator on his farm, and I
  17. gather some neighbors have complained that it produces noise
  18. pollution and so violates some local ordinance.

  20. I haven't been on his farm, a good distance away, and so don't
  21. know what it sounds like, how loud it is, etc.  But I was hoping
  22. to hear from others who have either found ways to quiet down the
  23. device, if it is obnoxious, or deal with inappropriate
  24. ordinances, if that is where the problem lies.
