- I've heard some rumors that Novell may be planning to "streamline"
- Unix to get rid of some of the (alleged) bloat. As far as Unix
- being well thought out, that may have been true for V7, but from
- what I've read it seems that SVR4 and most modern Unix-derived
- operating systems are a jumbled mix of features from SV and BSD.
- Not to say it is bad, mind you. As far as which is better is
- concerned, I've not have enough experience with Novell to make a
- comparison. Personally, I'd be happiest if we could convert all
- our systems to the Amoeba operating system from VU in The Netherlands.
