- If you are using VINES 5.xx or higher; You should be able to restrict
- access at the file level. You would probably have to restict the
- directory so new files could not be created, but existing files are
- eligible for read/write.

- Since I'm not a VINES 5.xx user yet, I can't say for sure if this is
- true and if so, how. Anyone care to clarify, or at least rip a few
- holes in my response?
