  11. I think this might be a dumb question, but here goes anyway ...

  13. We have several notebook computers that we use to keep in touch with the the

  15. when travelling, as well as being used at home "after hours".  A question has
  16.  been
  17. raised about logging into Banyan over a phone line. Is the password encrypted
  18.  when
  19. it travels from the notebook via modem to the server?  In other words, if the
  20.  phone
  21. line is "tapped" (unlikely event to begin with), is the password easily
  22.  detectable?
