- I agree. One doesn't have a choice, in the case of ritalin, because
- it is a prescription item, as are most, if not all, the
- behavior-modifying drugs. I would also urge you to get a second
- opinion if a doctor recommends ritalin or other behavior-modifying
- drugs for your child, and perhaps a third and a fourth. Many docs are
- quick to prescribe meds. For most of them, that's their training.
