- Hello fellow net-landers!
-
- I have the following computer-related items for sale or trade.
- (For trades, please see the end of this article for a list of things
- I'm looking for. Thanks.)
-
-
- FOR THOSE WHO HAVE OUTGROWN FINGER-PAINTING:
-
- Radio Shack CGP-220 color ink-jet (made by Canon)
- Not good for text but great for graphics.
- Quiet. Includes 2 extra ink cartridges, one
- tri-color, one black. Large cartrides last a
- long time and Tandy claims to support computer
- equipment for a minimum of 15 years.
- I just got a new manual from them. $170
-
-
- SYNTHESIZERS. ANNOY YOUR NEIGHBORS (OR YOURSELF, IF YOU PLAY LIKE ME):
-
- Sequential Circuits Six-Trak synthesizer $100
- Six sound chips - multi timbral
- Pitch and modulation wheel
- 4 octave keyboard (not touch sensitive)
- Built-in sequencer
- MIDI, clean sound
-
- Sequential Circuits Drumtracks drum machine $70
- 13 tunable percussion sounds, stored on EPROM
- 6 channels with individual outputs and combined output
- Programmable rythm patterns/sequences
-
- Effectron delay/flanger ADM256 - mono, rackmount $40
- Continuously variable delay range: 1ms - 1sec(modified)
- Modulation oscillator & control voltage input
-
- Realistic delay (cheapie) - mono $9.99
- Sorry, no free beachballs or flashlights if you buy here.
-
- TAPE THING:
-
- Everex 60 meg streaming tape backup (Archive drive, Everex software)
- Uses DC600A cartridges. $50
- Fast - 5 meg/min., formats on the fly.
- External w/adapter card.
- With 20 slightly used tapes.
- More reliable and faster than my Colarado Jumbo drive, but I need
- the extra capacity.
- Excellent software w/file & image backup, and even file restore
- from image backup.
- Guaranteed to work with your configuration, or I'll give you
- a full refund.
-
-
- IBM CARDS
-
-
- Tecmar Graphics Master $20
- This is an old CGA register-compatible card.
- It has extended resolutions up to 640x400x16 colors
- (interlaced).
- The neat thing is that it has an NTSC output and will
- do 640x400x16 grays (interlaced) or 320x200x16 colors
- (non-interlaced) on a TV (you need an RF modulator or
- you can connect it through your VCR.
- This card is supported by programs such as PC Paintbrush.
-
-
- Voice digitizer/playback card - DVC $40
- Has some kind of hardware compression
- (to squish your voice?)
-
-
- THEY GO ROUND AND ROUND:
-
- Seagate 4051 full-height 40 meg auto-park HD
- with infamous Seagate "stiction" problem-
- sometimes disk will not spin and needs
- to be tapped to start. Otherwise, ok
- in that it has not developed new bad sectors.
- Automatic parking works.
-
- 2 5-1/4" floppy drives, one 360k and one 1.2 meg
- (I think, maybe both are 1.2 meg). As I
- recall one of them has a slight head alignment
- problem and the other probably has dead
- electronics. In any case, both motors and
- steppers work.
-
- 1 5-1/4" floppy, 360K, black faceplate, works.
-
- ALL of the above drives: $30
-
-
- FUN & GAMES
-
- Intellivision II $30
- with 4 games, I can't remember what they are,
- I will look them up if you're interested
-
- Tandy Color Computer $50
- w/ chicklets for a keyboard.
- 32k
- Something's wrong with the disk drive.
- and I have a couple games on disk. ugh.
-
- For MAC: Imagewriter t-shirt transfer ribbons $4
- "Transfers any Mac Image to T-shirts" $7/2
- Print to paper with these ribbons, then transfer $12/5
- to cloth with an iron. Neat! Now you can put
- your picture on the back of your SO's favorite shirt!
-
- IBM PC GAMES:
-
- I will be posting an ad shortly in the computer games category.
-
-
- Trades: Some of the things I'm looking for:
- CorelSCSI software and compatible SCSI controller.
- 16 bit soundcard.
- Lantastic/AI version.
- Other Stuff and more Stuff.
-
-
- Terms: I'd prefer local on the larger items so you can check them out.
- If you'd like an item shipped, you pay shipping and I'll look all
- over for a suitable but possibly demented-looking box. Offers considered
- on items that aren't sold quickly.
