  12. My hard drive crashed last week and I am in desparate need of
  13. data recovery.  Problem is, I'm broke.  Does anyone know of a 
  14. place that will recover the data ****CHEAP*****!  Or, perhaps,
  15. a trade (you recover the data and I *give* you the hard drive!)

  18. Here's the relevant information:

  20.     Toshiba MKM 134
  21.     40 MB
  22.     with RLL
  23.     (approx. 3 years old)

  25. Not being a technical person, I've been relying on others for help on this...
  26. I've been told that this was probably not a head crash but that
  27. it's a mechanical problem (something won't spin, I think)

  29. If that can be fixed, I think the drive will still work okay.  However,
  30. I am not looking to fix this drive.  I am simply looking to get
  31. the data off of it.

  33. Actually, I only need ***some**** data off of the drive.  The rest of
  34. it, I really don't care about.
