  12. I'm a former Santa Cruz resident (9 years) who's returned to
  13. the Bay area as a visiting professor at Stanford. I'm looking for 
  14. housesitting situations anywhere in the Peninsula area, for any duration
  15. longer than two weeks, anytime after January 19th.

  17. I'm clean, responsible, and good with plants and animals.
  18. I'm finishing a book about the cultural and political
  19. history of computers, so I mostly need a quiet place to write..

  22. Range: anywhere from Los Gatos to South San Francisco, though the Palo Alto
  23. area (from Los Altos to San Carlos) is best 
  24. for me. Will also consider Santa Cruz and La Honda locations.

  27. take messages, and do anything else you need (within reason) in
  28. exchange for a place to stay.
