- Flatter rafters, that would explain it. Also, the time I had most
- contact with rafters was constructing my dad's barn using rafters from
- some barracks being torn down at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station.
- The were relatively flat AND the points didn't meet - there was a gap
- about 6 inches there where some sort of duct or something had been
- (details are fuzzy, it's been 15 or more years).
