- Are you surprised by this? If the National Association of Employers
- got the government to freeze programmer's salaries, don't you think
- many would do everything they could to maximize their salaries before
- the freeze? Just one of those nasty little side effects of
- regulation.

- you want, when you want it, at the price you want to pay. Why not
- just get the government to nationalize all cable stations outright?
- (Although you'd still have to get on the board of directors to assure
- yourself of the programs you want to see.)
