  20. And sadly, the occasional 2m repeater op.  I remember one memorable time
  21. on 7000 some years ago (when it had really gone to the dogs) when these
  22. two charlies came up, obviously unlicensed, and one of them said that the
  23. reason he had to go quiet was because he was in the dunny.  The other wally
  24. said that he shouldn't say things like that on the air, quite oblivious to
  25. the fact they were both pirating!

  27. And yes, I know who sold them the rigs.  For a while, he was selling 2m
  28. rigs to ANYONE, supposedly to promote the hobby!  Sigh - he always was a
  29. misguided lad...
