  11. I am looking for inexpensive accommodations in Melbourne at the end of  
  12. January.  I want to be close to both Melbourne and the tennis center for  
  13. the Australian Open tennis tourney.

  15. Can anyone make any recommendations?  First and foremost, I'm looking for  
  16. clean and safe.  I am open to shared accomodations (i.e. dormitory-style  
  17. youth hostel) but would prefer a private room with a shared bath, if  
  18. that's feasible given my low budget.
