- You failed to mention that a local call area in North America is very small
- in our terms. A call from Frankston to Greensborough in Melbourne, a distance
- of some 50kms, is a local call. You can talk ALL day for 24c. How much
- would such a call cost in a North American city? Do you verify your 'units'
- when buying gas, electricity or water? I know the lack of a local meter on
- the phone line bothers some people but most don't bother. If you really
- need a local meter then I'm sure something is available.

- Win on the round-abouts and lose on the swings. Everything considered
- though we have one of the best telecommunications networks in the world
- and at an affordable price. Room for improvement? - Of course there is!
- But one only has to travel a little to see just how GOOD Telecom's network
- is. And it's OWNED by Australia(ns) with the books in the black.
