- Precisely. The reason I added a smiley was because I was being sarcastic.
- Nobody would be too eager to get involved in "Supermarket Wars", and I can
- see no social or political motivation for doing so (except, possibly to
- arrange for a supermarket to sell food at post-GST prices! :-).

- If anything, I would *like* to see the government step in to ensure that
- supermarket chains couldn't obtain local monopolies for themselves, but then
- retail sales is *not* telecommunications, is it? Thus the issues are
- entirely different.
