  41. Speaking of Idjits, Nikolayev and Zeleny form a mutual-admiration society,
  42. which no one else joins or wants to.  However, Nikolayev is NOT an AI
  43. program -- he's a lab experiment in the psychology department.  I am not
  44. sure how this came about, but my guess is that some undergrads looking for
  45. extra credit gave a monkey a typewriter and called the resulting gibberish
  46. "Nikolayev".  It ain't Hamlet, but give it time.  If you're reading this,
  47. guys:  it was just supposed to be a thought experiment.  As you can see, 
  48. nothing interesting comes of actually doing it.  I'm sure he's the cutest
  49. little monkey on the block, but would you please send him back to radiation
  50. testing or whatever he used to do?  The banana chips are clogging my newsfeed.
