  10.  Where does the expression "can't see it thunder" come from?  If a 
  11. room is dark, I've heard people say, "You can't see it thunder in 
  12. here."  Thunder is the noise, not the lightening.  Did the word 
  13. "thunder" once mean both thunder and lightening?
