  14. Many of us have chosen to post under feminine names, either because that is
  15. now our real name or because of the comfort/anonymity factor.  Ever wonder
  16. about the name you chose for yourself?  Most people don't get to pick their
  17. own name - why did you pick the one you did?  I picked mine simply because I
  18. liked the sound of it, but last night I did some looking into some books about
  19. names.  The standard books just tell you what the name means (Rita - Greek -
  20. "The Pearl"), but there's also a book called "Beyond Jennifer and Jason" that
  21. talks about names for children that categorizes names in many different ways.
  22. For instance, Rita was categorized as being in "Fashion Limbo" (neither in nor
  23. out at the moment), as a "sexy"(!) name, and as a "feminine" name.

  26. and you don't have access to books about it, drop me a line and I'll look it
