  23.        Good point...Entombed seems kind of simple, musically, although I've
  24.    heard people say they're sort of complicated relative to many death metal acts.

  26. Simple?  Listen to the title track of _Left Hand Path_, or "Premature autopsy"
  27. off of the same album....there is a lot of complexity in their stuff, a lot 
  28. more than other Sunlight studio work as of late...

  32. Yeah, both are good.  It seems like there is a certain level of quality put
  33. out by most Swedish bands, and its just the massive number of cloned Death
  34. metal bands that makes that quality sound bad.  I mean, listen to a lot of 
  35. demos of American bands, then listen to demos of Swedish bands.  The Swedish
  36. bands sound better than a lot of signed bands' debut releases.

  38. I think Entombed, Dismember, and maybe one or two other bands are ahead in
  39. that they just have that extra touch to them.  its usually attitude.  its
  40. hard to describe, but it puts a few bands ahead of the rest.

  54. I think people need to get off of their anti-this, anti-that kicks.  just
  55. because you oppose someone else's point of view based largely on your own
  56. ignorance doesnt make you a tough ass.  try seeing the other side.  im 
  57. probably the only person really into satanic death metal that has read the
  58. bible (the king james bible) more than once all the way through.  not 
  59. because im a religious zealot, but because i realized if i really wanted to
  60. oppose the other side, i had to learn about what i was opposing.  now i 
  61. know more about Christianity than most Christians do, and if a bible-banger
  62. comes up to me and tells me my way of life is wrong, i can quote his own
  63. weapon faster than he can.

  66. concerned parents groups and censors telling us our lifestyle is bad.  99% of
  67. them dont even know what our lifestyle is.
