- Good point...Entombed seems kind of simple, musically, although I've
- heard people say they're sort of complicated relative to many death metal acts.
-
- Simple? Listen to the title track of _Left Hand Path_, or "Premature autopsy"
- off of the same album....there is a lot of complexity in their stuff, a lot
- more than other Sunlight studio work as of late...
-
- I'd pick Dismember or Impaler over them...
-
- Yeah, both are good. It seems like there is a certain level of quality put
- out by most Swedish bands, and its just the massive number of cloned Death
- metal bands that makes that quality sound bad. I mean, listen to a lot of
- demos of American bands, then listen to demos of Swedish bands. The Swedish
- bands sound better than a lot of signed bands' debut releases.
-
- I think Entombed, Dismember, and maybe one or two other bands are ahead in
- that they just have that extra touch to them. its usually attitude. its
- hard to describe, but it puts a few bands ahead of the rest.

- Strange as hell. As if dealing with violent Christians wasn't enough,
- now there's the possibility of Satan's children raging ... argh. Strange
- world, stranger justifications...Dark Throne may be partof it, as their limited
- success sort of went to their heads, by fifteenthand report...
-
- Christian death metal, anti-death metal satanists...what is next,
- anti-medical treatment doctors?
-
- I think people need to get off of their anti-this, anti-that kicks. just
- because you oppose someone else's point of view based largely on your own
- ignorance doesnt make you a tough ass. try seeing the other side. im
- probably the only person really into satanic death metal that has read the
- bible (the king james bible) more than once all the way through. not
- because im a religious zealot, but because i realized if i really wanted to
- oppose the other side, i had to learn about what i was opposing. now i
- know more about Christianity than most Christians do, and if a bible-banger
- comes up to me and tells me my way of life is wrong, i can quote his own
- weapon faster than he can.
-
- plus if more people would realize this is true, you wouldnt have all of these
- concerned parents groups and censors telling us our lifestyle is bad. 99% of
- them dont even know what our lifestyle is.
-
- well, im preaching, better stop. Xenocide 4 is practically done, mail me
- about it if you havent already.
