- <FLAME ON>
- Oh please, can you get down of your bloody high horse and listen for a
- second?...
- In the "waveform" editor in sonix, sure you get a little window in which you
- can squiggle to your heart's content, and draw waveforms. To play the
- waveforms the amiga WILL need them somewhere in memory and then squirt them
- out the audio stuff over and over again as a ***SAMPLE***. THE AMIGA DOES
- NOT HAVE A WAVEFORM GENERATOR. All sonix lets you do is edit short samples.
- A waveform generator is like what the C64 had... the chip already knew the
- waveforms you just told it which you wanted and at what frequency etc etc...
- Does someone have to come and beat you over the head with the RKM
- before you understand? Shit.
-
- Sheesh, the stupidity of some people.
- <FLAME OFF>
-
- We now return you to your regularly scheduled newsgroup.
