  12. Well, we had the San Diego North County net surf Saturday 12/19.
  13. The crew consisted of Mike (a brit in yankland), Chirs (a yank
  14. in britland) and myself.  We were also greeted by a large
  15. welcoming committee of longboarders at Cardiff where we finally
  16. settled.  Mike's rave spot, Beakons, also had a large welcoming
  17. committee.  So how was the surf?
  18.  
  19. The surf was about 3' - 4', and generously glassy.
  20. The water was around 60F and the air was sunny, mid-60s.
  21. When the longboarders left, it got more consistent
  22. although that may be just a matter of perception as
  23. more waves were made available to us.  Oh yeah, it
  24. was mushy too: the rights disappeared into the twilight zone.

  26. The next day, I drove down the coast hoping for some measureable surf.
  27. I settled in Del Mar 13th St., where it was 2' - 3' and
  28. extremely slow until it hit the sandbar where it pitched out
  29. for brief cover-ups.

  31. Today looked as flat as a doorknob.
