- I'm looking for some way of managing my finances. I've used various PC
- shareware products, and none had what I was looking for. My PC is now
- unavailable to me, so I'm looking for something for Unix.
-
- My main objective is to be able to tell what bills I have to pay each pay
- period, and how much I can pay off of my credit cards.
-
- Must have:
- - the ability to show me what I have at some date in the future, taking
- into account fixed incomes and outgoes (car payments, direct deposit pay,
- etc)
- - remind me when a variable rate but fixed date expense is due, how much I
- owe, and how much I can afford to pay (credit cards, phone bills, etc)
- - must have at least browse ability on a dumb terminal - I'd accept it if
- updates were only possible on an X terminal.
-
- Might be nice:
- - Integration with Sun's Calendar Manager
-
- If somebody has some ideas for doing this stuff with normal tools (sc,
- calendar manager, perl scripts, etc), I'd be happy to hear it.
