  51. Sounds like a great idea to me!  We could probably only manage to get everyone
  52. together once a year though, since we're so spread out.  We could probably
  53. manage "regional" trips more often than that.

  55. I'm hoping to get to Cadillac MI on the 4th of January for 2 or 3 days -
  56. Cadillac is reachable by 4 or 5 of us.  Yes, the 4th *is* a Monday, but my 
  57. wife works weekends, so I can usually only go through the week.  Also, the 
  58. date is *tentative* - the transmission went out on my truck last Sunday, and 
  59. I've got to scramble to get it repaired in time.  I can always take my wife's 
  60. truck, but I hate to leave her alone at home with 3 kids and no transportation.

  62. Also, as of right now, conditions are marginal there.

  64. We could plan for something later in January so we'd be sure of having snow.

  66. We could also plan a longer trip to the UP or Wisconsin's Northwoods - that
  67. would be within range for the Minnesota folks.  Kind of far for us southern
  68. Ohio boys, but I've wanted an excuse to get to the UP for a long time! ;-)
