  10. Saw Murphy's Law in Katwijk, Holland last friday. Opening up
  11. for them was a band called TTC from Berlin. They played 
  12. "groovecore" as they themselves called it. I didn't think
  13. they were appropriate as a supp. act. for ML - they would be
  14. more suitable for some open-air-festival.

  16. I was surprised to see such a small number of people turning 
  17. up - I think me & the guys were the only ones who were from out
  18. of town. But all this didn't bother ML at all: they played a
  19. 80 min + 10 min gig ("That's 40 min longer than Sick of it All",
  20. as Jimmy Gestapo put it - and he was right) and I must say that
  21. Jimmy must be one of the most relaxed singers I've ever seen:
  22. smoking a fag on stage, sliding up & down the stage in the
  23. inevitable beer-pool - not the kind of singer who's constantly
  24. begging for the audience to move up front or start moshing/pogo-ing
  25. or whatever. Like Jimmy said: "We're not playing for you guys - we're
  26. playing 'cause we haven't got anything better to do". That seemed
  27. to be the only appropriate attitude for that night.
