  26. Fair enough.  And while biological vs lifestyle is very important to many,
  27. a number of scientists seek to answer it, lets talk about your second
  28. statement.

  30. Please indicate items of legislated bigotry.  If you were to mean Prop 2 in
  31. Colorado, my reading of the amendment is that it prohibits legislated
  32. protection for gays as an expressed minority.  It does not attack, merely
  33. prevents protection.  Sort of like forcing the settlers outside the fort.

  35. Personally, I am as opposed to laws that single out groups to prevent
  36. protection as I am to laws that single out groups for protection.  In
  37. either case they have the same effect of labeling, stereotyping, and
  38. seperating a group of people into a separate but supposedly equal class.
  39. And any such seperation is the fertilizer of prejudice.
