  26. They did have an enormous effect.  Recent educated guesses say that less than 
  27. 2% of americans are gay.  If we assume that all parents are not gay (giving 
  28. your side the benefit of the doubt), then the result is a 98% success rate. 
  29. That sounds like a pretty enormous effect to me.
