- Jesus, you guys. There is a lot of brutality and oppression in
- history; would you prefer to have it ignored? I spend a lot
- of time arguing with friends on the left who've accepted the
- Western Oppression thing hook line and sinker, and it's very
- frustrating, and then I log on to usenet and see how smug and
- self-righteous you guys are, and it makes me want to march
- around chanting "Western Culture's Gotta Go."
- You accuse "PC" types of having a political agenda in their
- interpretation of history, and they do, and it can be very
- annoying. The thing you guys don't get is that YOU have an
- agenda as well, and yours has carried a lot more weight that
- theirs...
