  30.    This is an old argument, Doug.  I'm sure all the lesbians in the
  31. audience are amused by assumption that "homosexual sex uses a human
  32. output device," as are the 47% of all homosexual men who don't engage
  33. in anal sex.

  35.    Since you're so adamant to flame homosexuals for having anal sex,
  36. let me throw statistics at you:

  38.    (a) 10% of the population of the United States is gay or has actively
  39.        participated in homosexual acts. (Kinsey, Pomroy, et. al.)
  40.        (Actually, Kinsey stated that 33% of the population had at
  41.        one time or another participated in at least one homosexual
  42.        act.)

  44.    (b) 60% of the population of the United States has tried anal sex.
  45.        (More to the point:  Pomroy, Rice, Noble, et. al. put the
  46.        numbers at 67% of American women and 47% of American men had
  47.        had something inserted into their anus as sexplay.)

  49.    Since both percentages refer to the same base (The population of
  50. the United States), we can subtract (b) from (a), and what do we find?

  52.    Assuming (1) that all gay men like anal sex (Not true... I know
  53. quite a few that don't... reliable figures (Saghir and Robbins, 1978)
  54. show that only 53% of gay men enjoyed anal intercourse.  Note the
  55. study date was before the advent of HIV.) and (2) that the 10% figure
  56. quoted in (a) represents ONLY males, we find:

  58.    *AT LEAST* FIVE TIMES AS MANY HETEROSEXUALS AS HOMOSEXUALS HAVE
  59.     HAD ANAL SEX.

  61.    Also, looking at the Saghir and Robbins study closely, we discover
  62. that 47% of all gay men don't have anal intercourse.  Please explain to
  63. me, now that I've dissected your anal sex argument and found it
  64. wanting, how you propose to hate those 4 to 5 million American
  65. homosexual men who don't have anal sex?
