- Interesting. I'll have to look into this further. Knowing what I do about
- "secular humanism", especially as it existed in the 60's, I imagine that
- what the court actually established was that you don't have to be a "member"
- of a religion (clearly, since there was and, to my knowledge, still is no
- Secular Humanist Church) to have religious convictions that would exempt you
- from the draft.
