  23. Big difference: in this case, the reporters are on the net and are relating
  24. personal experience. This is not "unreported" and it is not hearsay
  25. or urban legend. To question their human experience is to question their
  26. honesty. Once you start that, the debate reduces to the level of
  27. "did too" "did not" "did too" - ie, it becomes bogus. I would ask you:
  28. do you think that those who described incidents here on the net are
  29. liars? Do you think Col. David Hackworth is lying in his description
  30. of a gay commander dispensing favoritism (IN COMBAT!) based on the
  31. sexual preference of the soldier?

  33. If you doubt these reports, COME OUT AND SAY IT. Don't insist that some
  34. ivory tower idea of "these should have been reported to authorities"
  35. or "give us names and dates" - it is obvious that these are bogus criteria
  36. that you are using just to avoid having to admit that some gays have, in the
  37. past, misbehaved in the military. So, let me ask you this:

  39. Do you disagree that some gays have misbehaved in the military? If not, then
  40. why are you attacking the assertions? If so, then defend the assertion.
  41. An answer of "but het's do it to" is irrelevant and will be ignored.
